Facebook is the first thing on many of today’s younger generation minds, and for Nitesh Bhakta of Cartersville Georgia it was a life saver. The man sitting in his bedroom heard screams from his grandmother downstairs. He ran to his bedroom door and opened it enough to see 3 or more masked robbers in his foyer. Instead of trying to be a hero or just plain hiding he grabbed his laptop computer and high tailed it for the attic.
Nitesh immediatly opened up his facebook page and posted, “HELLLLLLLLP!” as his status and began sending his nearby friend an instant Facebook message with “Please call 911, no phone“, ” hiding in my house“, ” there’s robbers“. Soon followed by the local police department’s arrival and one of the suspects arrest. The robbers made out with nothing but apparently had tied up the man’s 17 year old sister and Grandmother. My best to the Family, I’m glad this one turned around for the better. Now i just hope they catch the other purps.
