Kind of like Tom Waits meets New Order, Future Islands is a Baltimore band to look out for. Their latest album, ‘In The Evening Air’, was released last year on Thrill Jockey and displays a band finding their sound while also making awesome creative strides. Their singer, Samuel T. Herring, is also quite charismatic and takes their live show to the next level.
