Johnny Cash Project

Posted on by Sarah Bils

Can you believe that 3 days ago marked the eigth anniversary of the death of Johnny Cash? To commemorate it, Google sponsored a fan-made music video for Ain’t No Grave, Cash’s ironically titled posthumously released song. The concept behind the video is to allow artists to each illustrate one frame, with the next artist adding onto the previous artist’s work, layering their illustrations together.

But the the project itself is definitely worth checking out. Go to thejohnnycashproject.com. While watching the video, press pause every so often. This enables you to learn more about the artist behind it. Very cool.
