So about me, I have a Bachelors of Science in Multimedia and Web Design, from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I enjoy all aspects of multimedia. I love taking pictures, shooting film, and graphic design. But for the most part programming is my thing. I love knowing how things work. Even more than that I love making things work. I personally developed this entire site. I current work for one of the dopest media agencies in NYC. That aside I’m a nobody from nowhere trying to leave my mark.

I’m from Boston and have spent the past few years booking tours for theWandas, throwing shows in Boston and NY, contributing to to the Deli Magazine New England and I’m currently working as a consultant for a new music venue opening up in Cambridge MA. I also co- created a reality show about female promoters in Atlanta, Boston, D.C. and L.A. I like hitting the road with the guys and getting right in the thick of the scene in each city. As if this didn’t keep me busy enough I’ve decided to start sharing the bands I’ve come across with you on blaqbook. Feel free to send me hot up and coming bands from your city at danielle@blaqbook.com

Ting Ting GuanTing Ting Guan
Writer
My name is Ting Ting Guan. I get paid by doing print and accessories design, and I spend it enthusiastically on food, drinks and night life. Originally from China, I was shipped to Philly around 5 and moved to Brooklyn 3 years ago where my love of food and good times flourished. On the weekends you can usually find me on the dance floor, and during the week at some local restaurant stuffing my face. Other than that I love to travel, jump on trampolines and do things that remind of being a kid.

I used to be cool. I used to DJ. I used to party. I used to run around Philly with Justin and a bunch of kids vandalizing, going to concerts, and eating greasy ass food. Justin and I had BIG dreams of starting a really great blog site, it was really Justin’s brain child, and I helped with the creative side of it. So I guess you could say I am one of the originators.
Well… I became really uncool. I moved away to the Seattle area, I got married, got a couple of dogs, and got pregnant. In my everlasting boredom, sitting at this desk, I will bring some entertainment news, gossip, little bit of fashion, some music, malarky, and hodge podge, maybe it will help get you through your day like it helps me.
Oh yeah, and my dogs are cooler than yours, I guarantee it.
Exit to the left hater.

Marco Sanchez
Photographer
I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. I took my first meaningful (but horrible) photograph when I was 15. I managed to survive high-school and went straight into Design school. Graduated from Graphic Design, then studied 3 years of Industrial Design and I’ve been working on design and photography since then. When I was a kid I ate a grasshopper, stuck a fork in an electrical socket, “fixed” a lamp I had in my room with only a screwdriver and then it literally exploded in my face; I fell off trying to ride a horse and I crashed my dad’s car, all before the age of 14.

I am a sum of all the previous paragraph.

I recently decided to move to New York, where grasshoppers are not edible, I can get plastic forks and lamps are cheaper to replace. Also I have no intention of riding a horse and/or buying a car. Se habla español.

Aaron FloresAaron Flores
Writer
Aaron Flores has thrown himself into the creative realm for numerous years. In the past few years, he’s consulted on a graphic-tee clothing company as well as worked in the spectrum. It is within this time he’s also written short stories. His newest foray into literature is a hard-boiled pulp-fiction in the vein of lonesome anti-heroes and the women that love them.

As of late, this has been more an object of focus, and rightfully so. His detective story has garnered some interest and additional support among friends and peers. Suffice to say, with all that he had his hand in thus far, whether painted with graphics or with stories, the future appears literally colorful for him.

Julian DamianiJulian Damiani

Hobbies include foreign films, literature, animals, and writing. Recent areas of interest are the effects of pornography, sadomasochism, and technology’s ability to overwhelm in contemporary life.
